    Inertia Pullers.....Who has the patent?

    I have counted at least 7 different makers of kinetic bullet pullers. Kexplor seems to be the earliest and uses different shims to hold the case in place. Dillon, RCBS, Hornady, Lyman, Frankford Arsenal and Quientics all make a very similar product. So, is there no patent? Am I missing some brands? I seem to recall Bonanza used to make one too.

    Patents are only good for 7 years and renewable for a second 7 years.

    Patents expire after a certain amount of time, some longer than others. Imagine if there were still patents on the light bulb, or the electric transformer.

    Inertia pullers have been around since about 1953. There are a lot of variations to style and operation, but they all do the same thing.

    Imagine if there were still patents on the light bulb, or the electric transformer.
    That one would be worth something.

    A lot more than Sony's Betamax patent would be today.

    As far as gun stuff the AR15 and 1911 would be two pretty good ones as well. Reloading presses specifically the single stage and powder measure would be pretty sweet.
