I will send a letter for a pc9 type rifle if I could get others to request a Ruger American Ranch in 357,44 and 45 Colt.

A ruger American ranch in 357 would almost be like my 77/357.

guess I never saw a logical reason for a bolt action in a pistol revolver calibers. Not when they make lever guns for them. A nice little 94 or 92 is a heck of a lot more fun then a bolt gun.

If either could be had for a 450.00 street price...I would get rid of some guns and get multiple.

Indeed. 357 rifles are expensive these days.

I can shoot 38 special out of it for $.05 a round, it's stainless and light weight, and my youngest son could shoulder it at 8 years old. With 158gr boolits in 357 magnum, it makes a very good 75yard deer rifle for a youth. And it don't look silly with a scope on it.

This is the email I received from Ruger.

Thank you for your support of Ruger products and for taking the time to email the CEO. Chris occasionally asks me to answer some of the questions that he has reviewed. At this time we are diligently looking into the pistol caliber carbine market. Please keep an eye on Ruger.com over the next few months for new products that will hopefully meet your needs. Good luck and safe shooting.

    I like strange looking boolits!

I handled a PC40 at the gun show last saturday. Too heavy in my opinion.
The Chiappa M19mm was much lighter.
