    My oh my!

I thought my RCBS Frankenmold 4 cavity was odd. Then I found this on eBay.

It is a sinker mold now. Sad to see that happen to what likely was a good mold.

I saw that this morning. They drilled out all the lube grooves and added a loop at the tip. Now it is junk.

No no. It's a hi tek or powder coat style now.
It even has a multi function attachment ring.
You can pull the lead back for reuse.
Grappling projectile to climb up a tree.
Keep your deer from running 3 miles after having both lungs, heart, and a foreleg blown out.
    Rifle fishing.
Pull your paper target back so you can see where you hit it.
    Possibilities are endless.

If they converted that to a sinker mold it's a very expensive sinker mold. Those 4 cavity Lyman molds have always been 2X the price of a sinker mold. It would also be a very light sinker. Around 1/3 ounce.

    Hey Monkey,
I think you may be wrong! It is clear what this is used to make. Remember in the pirate movies when they loaded the cannons with two cannon balls chained together to take out the rigging of the other ship. These are used to take out the target of the guy with the muzzle brake shooting next to you!

I would fill in the loops with titanium putty and use for pc coating. A real good high temp putty would fill the loops, just tit. came to mind. What does one have to lose, now it is a panfish weight.

Had it been to a Lee mold I'd of thought someone was thinking, but, to a RCBS mold, they weren't thinking.

Tie them together with some high tensile strength fishing line and load them in a 12g for a bolo round.
