Derek is a local gunsmith and NFA dealer. I have had the utmost respect for him since the very first time I met him.
Can't even imagine the pain and loss he is feeling. But because I have felt the power of prayer in my own life, I ask that as many of you as possible will say a prayer for him.

As a family who is walking the path of losing a child about six weeks ago, our prayers are with all involved especially the father.

Father, I come to You to ask for comfort and peace for Derek. The loss of a child is the biggest pain that most people can ever feel. Please walk with his family and friends as they deal with this loss. Father, help them to dwell on the good times they shared and spare them the pain associated with their loss. AMEN

I'm having him placed near to his Great Granddad who we lost to cancer in 2010. He loved his Great Grandad very much. We got the closest space and I bought the space next to him. For myself.

Good Lord! What a horrid circumstance!!! Prayers up for the family. Our young have SO many influences today. We parents are NOT the most common nor the strongest influence on them. It is truly tragic what effects the profane world has on some of our young. I grieve for this family in their loss. May God comfort them, and help them bear their sorrow. Amen.
