You can find or have made just about anything you would like to cast with here at cast boolits . Only problem is deciding witch one to start with .

Accurate, Noe, Saeco, and Lee all may have what you want off the shelf. Another would be the custom makers where you can desighn just what you want.

I do like the Lee designs. I use the 358-125 in my 9mm carbine and it generally goes where I want ti to. And I use the 452-200 round flat nose and the 452-230 tumble lube in my 45's. The 452-230 is the only boolit that I have ever had no trouble getting good feeding, chambering and on target results. It is reduced diameter at the nose and just plain works. All the rest I had to play with to get them to work. I liked the 358-158 round flat in 38 and 357 loadings. I would definetly go with a 6 cavity mold for production.

What makes a 158 grain bullet better than a 125 grain bullet? I am looking at a Lee 358-125-2r but it seems better prices are available on a 158 gr.

The 158 is too much for a 9mm . The moulds should be the same price .

To the op I have an NOE version of the 454424 250 gr SWC in a 5C and there's no way I could come close to the duration or count with a 4C iron mould . I have 1 4C Lyman mould in 25cal and to be 100% honest I don't see me doing it again , its only grace is that it is for a particular bullet for a particular need and the price was right . It is also barely used .

Nope , 25 cal moulds are too hard to come by . Besides that little 25-20 bullet at 90 gr is saweet in the in the 257 Roberts .
