    found a good deal

I was looking at a couple of differant Nitro piston .22 rifles and had just about decided on the Hatsan when I ran across a deal. Pyramyd Air had a Crossman Crusher in .22 with 3 accessories for 99 dollars. That is 1/2 of the price of the rifle alone and it came with a scope. It seems to be fairly accurate but the scope leave something to be desired. I may still get the Hatsan later on but right now I am checking out the NP world with this Crossman.

What say ye? Good deal or no?

Not broken in yet but shows promise. Several 1" groups but also some that are much bigger. Instructions say a 250 round breakin period for the accuracy to settle in. Going to rain tomorrow so no shooting then. Rain forecast all week here. Darn it.

My nitro venom shot good out of the box.

I got a Benjamin Titan NP .22 recently, and groups hover in the 1/2" to 1"@20yds range, but I have only fired 80-100 shots so far. The Centerpoint scope could definitely be better, but it's serviceable. I'll probably replace it sooner or later, but happy with the gun so far. Trigger could be smoother, and if it doesn't wear in a bit, I'll see if I can do a trigger job on it.
I passed my last psych eval, how bout you?

OK Ghosthawk here is the 25 yard group. 9 different pellets and a new scope. I put the Hammers 3x9x32 AO scope on it. Found it liked the H&N Barracuda Hunter pellet with 5.5 mm head best. The 25 not 20 yard 5 shot group is below.

Well you picked a great scope, I have 2 of those and love them dearly.

Looks better than my Hatsan 1000 group wise, but I don't think I have 25 pellets through mine yet. We'll see.

As for yours, yes that will do. That will do quite nicely in fact.

I purchased a Hatsan 95 from Pyramid Air. The rifle has exceeded my expectations. The scope included with the rifle, however, was of low quality and did not stay long. My rig is currently wearing a Leupold VX 3, ( worth far more than the rifle) but is a pleasure to use. No reason a fellow can't have more than one air rifle.

(Snippage)....."No reason a fellow can't have more than one air rifle."

    Exactly so.

I started with a Sheridan Blue Streak over 40 years ago. I'm up to 2 now, nice to have a spare. Pair of 1322's showed up here some 3 years ago, with the carbine stocks. Recently put a good scope mount on one and I am playing with different options options. Currently riding it is a Truglo 3x Red Dot.

I had a pair of chinese B3 underlever guns, gave one away. One still works fine, its harsh, twangy, and jerky but it hits what you aim at.

Then a pair of Hatsans, a 135 QE vortex (which is a beast and dang accurate) then the 1000 striker for something a bit lighter, easier to cock.

All but the Sheridans are .22. Never cared much for .177 but I do have a Beeman P17 that lives next to my recliner for casual shooting in the living room. Keeps the cat on his toes.

Tempting to try a Hatsan 95 if I could get a good deal on a refurb QE Vortex.

I have become a vortex fan, smoother shot cycle, no twang, not as much torque, no worrys about forgetting and leaving it cocked for a bit.
