ID:	194192Hey folks,
bought this vintage Crosman Japanese-made airgun scope and you can see the rings it came with. Can anyone help me come up with the parts? They seem to be missing the blocks with grooves to hook onto the receiver.

I may have something like that looking for a good home. It is possible it went away in a purge.

Yeah? I'm interested if you end up finding it. I'm also give Crosman a call, though it's a pretty old part I think.

I looked around this morning, but only came up with some old weaver rings.
How far apart are those two tabs with the screw hole?
Could they be what grips the dovetail and really you only need a screw?

Thanks for looking! The ends are flat. There was another part to these things originally–I'll give Crosman a yell and see if they can help me. Here you can see this one had the parts that I need, copied from an eBay listing:

I assume it was designed to attach right to the 11mm dovetail–I wonder if I can find brackets that can work? Not worth going too crazy, but the scope is kind of cute. Made in Japan, nitrogen-filled.

I had a scope like that on a old Glenfield model 60 I picked up in a pawn shop when I was young. I seem to remember the receiver was grooved for the mounts.

I searched the web after my last post and found similar pictures. I'm sure there are still a few of those clamps floating around somewhere, collecting dust in a parts box.
Or you could rob two pair of weavers of parts to make your Crossman work.

    Thanks for your help.
Called Crosman to order some stuff-the very helpful gentlemen said, "just measure the scope and buy some rings." I just may do that.
