    Looks more like lead foil used old fashion dental x-ray film. I got mine from an old dentist. I have taped these together to make a homemade Credit Card RFID Chip protection pouch for my credit wallet. Seem to be near pure lead.

    Not the first time it has happened ...
    have had friends drop off various pieces here and there thru time .
    Yes , it is "lead foil" .. X-ray lead .
    Good idea there pete 501 .. credit card chip protection ! , now if I can just find the GPS transmitter in my company truck ...
    a nice little layer of foil will help....

    It's prob. under your dashboard and tee's into the truck antenna. Unscrew the antenna and see if they start missing you. You can always say it was lost/stolen.

    Nice Score. I've never had any of that but it is reported to be good alloy.
