22 tcm ...........can you use a 9mm win mag barrel in it?

    first, .... i know i need a stronger spring.

what i'm trying to do is match the case heads up to the 22 tcm in size.

9mm win mag is very close.

the breech face is milled to accept 22 tcm and 9mm luger .....but the 9mm luger cartridge is much shorter than the 22 tcm in o.a.l.

the magazine that comes with the 22 tcm is really a .38 super magazine ...so when you load 9mm luger cartridges in it ...well...it just don't look right.

now there is going to be some here that'll say "i've shot a million 9mm luger thru mine and it never ever failed to fire!....something is wrong with yours and send it back!"

    bull!

the mag is designed to hold a longer shell ....and it should.

i thought about buying a .38 super comp barrel and spring as it is close too.
    also...

i tried cutting down a .223 and did a good job of it .....but to use that brass i'd have to mold .335 bullets and have a barrel made just for that brass. nope.

also i cut the rims down on a .38 super ...again i did it good.

so i'm back to square one.

will the .38 win mag work as i've described?

I'm not sure I understand why you would have to cast .335 bullets for the 223 brass unless you have a .335 barrel and I don't know where one would obtain a barrel of that bore diameter.

What is a .38 win mag? I can't find a listing for it anywhere.

This has me ????? You can use 223 brass to make 9MM largo but use 355 size bullets. You can also make 7.62 tok brass from 223. 38 super brass from 223 also.

The 9mm win mag brass is as long as a loaded 9mm, by the time you load a 9mm wm to a COL of 1.575" you will not be able to use your mags. Which is why AMT used the Automag 3 frame which I think was the same frame used for the 30 carbine?

Starline Brass makes rimless 38 super brass that works with a 38 super barrel.
