Still waiting to hear from RCBS. Does anyone have a recommended COAL? .940" Covers the top grease groove, clears the magazine, and satisfies plunk tests in all my pistols. My concern is the shank is a tad longer than other bullets I've used so pressure might be an issue.
I would say you got the right length then.
rcbs shows bulls-eye at 1.5-2.0grs
231/hp-38 and unique are at 2-2.5 if your in/below that area I'd say your safe.
I'm not familiar with the RCBS bullet, but have good results at 0.945-0.950" with Accurate 31-077B and 31-090B in my various .32 ACPs.

It works well in my Keltec P32 but I have to seat a little deeper and adjust my loads accordingly.

I'd have to measure it, but I think I still have a few rounds left with that boolit. Just checked, and I loaded it to .938,--at least that's what my Harbor Freight Caliper says. I used 2.2 grains of WW-231--my standard load for 32 acp. It worked perfectly from my Colt 1903, Tomcat, and Browning 1922.

10 shot groups, avg. vel.
Kel tec P32: 850, SD 20
Colt 1903 type 3: 934, SD 13
Bersa Thunder: 924, SD 17

If it fits in your barrel and the magazine you should be good to go.
I use that same boolit in several 380's and it works well in all of them.

Just bought a beautiful Savage 32 auto from beezapilot. Can I load it using 32 S&W dies ?
Probably... But maybe not...
If you already have the dies, try them and you might get lucky.
Depends on whose .32 S&W dies you have and whether they are for .32 S&W or S&W LONG, there is a difference.

Some .32 S&W expander plugs are too long and will bulge .32 ACP brass about halfway down the body.
The Lee gives less trouble because it only flares and does not expand the interior case wall.
