    Finished a powder horn

    Got this one done last night, on to the next project!

    The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

    waksupi, You have both more skill and patience than I do. I have 3 and they are very well made but are plain without the scrimshaw or carving. They are using horns. Your horn is both beautiful and definitely a work of art. Thanks for the picture. james
