Very sorry to hear this, Country Gent. Those of us who were so blessed as to have a really good Dad, are richly blessed indeed! Many do not these days, and it's getting worse. I'm not sure just how this will effect our future as a nation, but it can't be a good thing. Just carry all he taught you and told you in your heart, as a way to continue to honor him and show your love for him. He'll smile on you for that, and you'll be blessed.

Country Gent, Its with a heavy heart I wish to offer you my deepest condolences. My dad was 83 when we lost him and I can say that it isn't often that I don't think of something positive about him either in his humor, sayings or his teachings. I hope your family finds peace.

Remember the good times. I lost my Dad a year ago. I look back on all the good times and everything I learned from him. My passion for hunting, fishing and shooting are from him. Sorry for your loss.

I have a lifetime of memories of Dad and Mom. The one thing no one can take away from me. I will always have those. Dad worked as a tool and Die maker for 33+ years and farmed also. I believe He would have kept a few horses if it wouldn't have tied him down to much.

Are my kids/grandkids more important than "o"'s kids, to me they are, darn tooting they are!!! They deserve the same armed protection afforded "o"'s kids.
