    New mold day again!

I've picked up a few molds the past couple of weeks but haven't been doing any casting. Today, despite it being 100% humidity out, I decided to break the boredom and do some casting.

First up was a Lee SC 240 .44 Hollow point mold. It's a used mold so I cleaned it up a bit, warmed it up, gave it a light coat of smoke and started making boolits.

Second up was a Lyman SC 358242. Wiped out the cavity, warmed it up and started making nice little boolits. My first thought was where have you been all my life! I'm going to be shooting this boolit a lot so I'm going to have to find a DC mold.
    Semper Fi!

    Currently casting for .223, .308, .30-06, .30-40 Krag, 9mm, .38/.357, 10mm, 44 Mag and 45 ACP.

    I like strange looking boolits!

358242 - which do you have - 92 gr or 121 gr? Both are excellent! I have molds for both gr weights and use the 121 gr a lot for 38 Colt Short, Long, 38 Special and 9mm. I haven't used the 92 gr one much yet but picked it up to try for 380 ACP. I've loaded a few in 38 Colt Short and they seem to work well for that too.

    The 121 gr.

I'm going to try and use it for 9mm also.

I have a new to me mold too! I bought it from a friend that is trying to downsize.

Its a H&G 130. I have not used it yet, but hoping to warm it up next week.
