I don't save the hides. I have given some away to be mounted. I use a electronic call. I have been shooting 40 gr. bullets in my 223 for 15 years or more. had one last year get away and one this year so I'm working up a 55 gr load. Might not make any difference but I want to try it.

4 since feb, just to and from picking the kiddo up from day care in town. Man they are dumb when it comes to hand guns. The sight of a long gun puts them in gear, but nobody's lived to tell their buddy's to be afraid of a well placed 38. 20 miles west the dog runners killed 50 or so over a long weekend last month.

only one this past winter. It sucked this year but after talking to several landowners where we call I found out a lot of them have been trapped. One place we went to and didn't have any luck and when we talked to the landowner later on he told us they trapped 19 this year but were still hearing them. Another told us they trapped 12. Plus it never really got cold here and never snowed this year.

2 this past fall and one this spring so far. Getting ready to set traps on a dead pile at a hog farm; usually thin a few out there.

Being from the far southwest they are called Coyotes. I've never heard the term Songdog. I suppose it depends on where you live.
