I can see through it, it's just cloudy.
The adjustment is sticky, but it works.
    Not sure if it's white.
Just like looking through a hazed

Lost seal, water got in, you have haze on your lenses. Think about what a similar quality scope would cost. $250 is inexpensive in comparison.

I'd refurb it. If you don't like the end result, you can always sell it on ebay. There is a collector for just about everything it seems.

Clean it up and start enjoying it at my point in life I want to enjoy things before it gets to where I can't do it anymore unless you are financially strapped as I know some are through no fault of their own get it going or sell it to somebody who can.

Any other good scope repair places to try????
You could try this bloke in Australia http://opticalrepairs.com.au/

His website says a service charge of AUD$190 (about US$145) plus postage.

+1 on the recommendation for Iron Sight. They have corrected 3 scopes for me and will get any others I obtain that require help. Yes, they are backlogged. I factor that time line into my plans for the scope. Don't like your reticle? They have several options to choose from. Their backlog is a good signal, something like trying to find a good place to eat. I refuse to stop at a restaurant with an empty parking lot. However, I can patiently wait in the line outside the front door at a busy restaurant for my time to be seated. Good luck with your scope.
