    Hi,
    Is it steel or aluminum?
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace.
We ask not your counsels or arms.
Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you.
May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” -Samuel Adams

Seagiant, it is aluminum. Clue 1 is paint chipping. Clue 2 is the shellholder slide. It is one piece as were all the aluminum Seniors, the cast steel presses use a two piece slide.

Nothing against the OP, but that particular press is the less desirable one, not only due to it being aluminum, but because it is the model that lacks the tie-bar. I'd put the value at <$200.

Yes it's just the senior I know, have two original shell holders #3 and #2 I believe and the universal by rcbs also the original priming mechanism for large primers

That's a good price you paid. I have bought several sr's in the last couple of years for as much as $380. The last two I bought at an estate sale I got for $12 each. One steel and one aluminum tall boy.
Life is so much better with dogs!

You did good! No one on here would turn down that old aluminum SR for $10!

Heck, if ever find one that nice, that cheap, I'm buying a lottery ticket on the way home!

    Hi,
I've got one just like it!

Even though aluminum, they are stout, smooth and work well!!!
