    take down conversion

    anybody ever do a take down conversion on a 03a3. I have a bubba one I would like to try it on.

    Yep. Several custom gunmakers in the early 20th century did it with '03's. Get the late Michael Petrov's books "Custom Gunmakers of the 20th century", Vol. 1 and 2, in which some known ones are shown. The takedowns made by Holland's, Westley Richards, and Rigby long ago are another source for ideas on the subject.
