    Lee powder measure kit

Just picked up the red dipper set. Just need to find the black set now. Couldn't pass it up for $5 .

So is there a difference other than the color? Mine are yellow, and all but one are still fasten together. They all seem to be just a little too big for my chosen load.
    Information not shared. is wasted.

The yellow ones are calibrated on cubic centimeters, not sure what the numbers on the red ones mean. They are not the same volumes from what I can tell and the yellow set has more measures.

I use them a good bit when doing small batches or working up loads. .I have an extra set of red ones I bought with some missing , I have altered some of those.

You can "adjust" them with tape for the exact charge you want if needed. A layer of tape on the side reduces capacity as does a snug fitted disc in the bottom

Just got the black set today. I now have all 3. The sets are different capacities, but regardless, I've been collecting the old lee equipment as of late. I have a few of the lee loaders and the auto prime II. ITS A START!!!!!!!

This thread compares. According to one post, black & red are the same.

That was the volume in cubic inches; is it a 4 digit number? Lee realized that was too big a dimension and went to cubic centimeters. This is from the 16th Handloaders Digest which had a nice article about Lee's history, written by Dick Lee.

They are really handy in the reloading room I think they measure out a little light so I check them with a scale.

I got the yellow and red dippers, been wanting the black. Neighbor had a garage sale, brand new black set dated 1966. One dollar!

I finally got all three sets, but I'm missing the "slide rule" from one (the yellow, maybe?) set. IIRC, they are the current ones and I can buy a replacement for that from Lee.
