    52 cal sharps

    Am looking at a 52cal sharps carb.where can I buy bullets or a mould

    All humor aside, I would recommend doing a cast of the bore or if you haven't done that many gunsmiths will do it cheaply. Then mic the diameter of the bullet and many mold company have most all sizes of mold or can make them. I asked Lee to make me one for a 58 caliber under hammer that was a tad small and it only took a few weeks for a Minnie style bullet!

    Big fan of Moose Molds here. They cater to the skirmisher crowd and have several designs for the Sharps. I use their France mold myself, very accurate. Of course you'll want to do a chamber cast to determine the throat diameter so you know what to size it to.

    YES MOOSE MOULDS. THEY ARE ON FACE BOOK AND HAVE A WEB PAGE.
    (OOPS ON CAPS) I use there bagdon stile sharps mould. It is not on their web page. kind of looks like a sumi wad cutter.
