Nice looking rifle. It is something that I'd consider getting.

Thanks for spending the time to share this with us.

Without the red dot it looks very MAR-14ish to coin a phrase. I like it! It needs to be in 30 ARX cal tho, better than 300 and close to 308.
Got a .22 .30 .32 .357 .38 .40 .41 .44 .45 .480 or .500 S&W cylinder that needs throats honed? 9mm, 10mm/40S&W, 45 ACP pistol barrel that won't "plunk" your handloads? 480 Ruger or 475 Linebaugh cylinder that needs the "step" reamed to 6° 30min chamfer? It can be any AR compatible caliber you chose. All you would change is the bolt itself.

richmanpoorman, the new CA laws cover bullpup designs also, and outlaw anything approaching a pistol grip or thumbhole stock. As I heard it, if it allows you to wrap your thumb around it, it is an evil feature. Heck, the law specifically stated rifles, but the CA DOJ has expanded it to shotguns as well.

Strangely, most states with good laws as pertains to firearms, are states with very poor ratings as regards womens' rights and education. Otherwise, I would consider selling the house, and moving out of CA. Well, I also have some family here, too.

At one of the DC marches, one woman carried a sign that said "I dream women will someday have the same rights as guns."

Does that mean that this brilliant liberal wants...

    - women to be banned from entering school and college campuses?
    - women to be banned from any establishment selling alcohol?
    - women to be banned from polling places on election days
    - women to be banned from any official government group meetings?
    - all women to be banned from all airports?
    - you to have to pay a fee to the state before you can carry a woman on your person?
    - some women to be banned outright simply because they look too scary?
    - all women to be locked up at all times that they are not in use?

    thanks guys.

I'm still in CA because this is my home and I refuse to be pushed out by either Mexicans or Insane Politicians.

Complete Control of anything only lasts for a finite amount of time, and I am praying that the Liberal Control of CA only lasts until the next election. The insanity of the left has been very seriously exposed in the last 5 months and even many Democrats are seeing that the people they elected are patently insane. You need look no farther than Nancy Pelosi, Gerry Brown, or Maxine Waters. It takes some seriously F'd up people to vote for these quacks, and sooner or later they will look in a mirror and get the correct answer. (Osmosis maybe)

I haven't been able to come up with another place I'd like to live. Everything I do, and everyone I know is here, my business is here and many of our relatives are as well.

I don't know what I'd do elsewhere, and my wife probably wouldn't go with me as all her relatives are here too.

Nope, gonna stick it out for a while longer.

I really like this rifle, the stock is real slick and if I didnt already have a lightweight carbine, I would build this......... Just cause I like it! I live in Texas and can own whatever I like. I have also always dislike the ar15 stock ergonomics. Give me an FAL any day

Nice featureless build. I live in the draconian state as well.
    My builds.
I opted for home made wraps, comp, pinned stocks. My pistol has the stupid Maglock. For those who don't know what a Maglock is? It makes it so I have to break the lower apart to swap mags.

Splendid work. I've never gotten used to pistol grips - the handling is so different to the rifles that I grew up with. Nice to see an AR without one.

I am emailing all the Republican Voting groups in CA to get them to put up billboards in Hispanic areas calling them Pendejos if they vote for Democrats, or in Black areas just calling them "idiots" if they vote for Maxine Waters, or "Completely Insane" if they vote for Pelosi.

People are voting for these insane wackos simply out of name recognition and nothing more.

They are "Low Information Voters" which right now coupled with the "Batship Crazies" and "Socialists" are the main constituencies of the Democratic Party

Once they equate these names with Pendejo, Idiot, and Completely Insane, and other insults by seeing the name and picture of the target on a billboard placed in high traffic areas, they will start to switch their votes to others.

Why we haven't done this already is beyond me. When the RNC calls me asking for money and they tell me CA is a lost cause, I get pretty profane with them. I am not funding candidates in other states when the 57+ Electoral votes in CA matter more than 5-8 of the "battle ground states" combined.

My rifle is not only a middle finger to the *****s in Sacramento, I really like the way it handles, and for me it is beyond the Ergos of the AR platform with all the advantages of that platform included, and None of the Political BS attached.
