Not at all, I size to .359 however it will size down to .356 easily. Your sizing will depend on the bore diameter of your pistol/rifle.

I'm casting 9mm for my Sig 229 and my Springfield XD mod 2 4". I have read both of those usually run at 355-356. Or have I been misinformed?

The smaller numbers usually refer to jacketed bullets, in my experience. I run .358 in both my Browning HP's, my Tanfoglio's and my wife's Astra, and they work fine.

Not really. I have .355 barell and I size to .357.
Most 9 mm guns I have measured are .356 barell.

How about an 8 cavity BRASS mold with slick sides for coating. Now that would pump out some bullets!

Most my posts are from a mobile device. They'll probably be full of errors, so please be patient.

    Also, I'm new at casting

I am really anticipating this mould, as my kids are now old enough and I plan on us doing a fairly large amount of 9mm shooting this summer. I bought them both a SIG 2022 4 years ago and want to wring them out. 10 rounds at time, gotta stay legal.
