    I took the NOE plunge

I'm tired of the Lee sizers I have so finally took the plunge and bought the NOE sizer. Also bought a couple molds too! I am casting for 380, 9mm, 38 spl, 300AAC, 358 win, and 45acp. Did I miss anything?

    1 x 45Cal .452 Body Bushing (B452) (B452) = $9.75
    1 x 30Cal .309 Body Bushing (B309) (B309) = $9.75
    1 x 357-38Cal .359 Body Bushing (B359) (B359) = $9.75
    1 x Mould Handles (MH001) = $35.95
    1 x 357-38Cal Push Rod (38PR) (38PR) = $7.50
    1 x 357-38Cal .357 Body Bushing (B357) (B357) = $9.75
    1 x 30Cal Push Rod (30PR) (30PR) = $7.50
    1 x 45Cal Push Rod (45PR) (45PR) = $7.50
    1 x 360-280-RN RG4 cavity GC (360009) (S4) = $133.00
    1 x 311-247-FN RG4 cavity PB (Whisper) (J3) = $135.50
    1 x 001 Push Through Size Die Body (PTSD01) = $39.95

I also bought the .357 bushing and I found it to be to small for my powder coated bullets. I will either get the .358 or use some sandpaper in a dowel chucked in the drill to open it up. after I checked the Star sizer I see that my uncle used the .358 to size his bullets. He is the one that gave me all my casting stuff to get me started.

I really like the NOE sizer concept. Most of you are more experienced than me, so take my remarks accordingly. The Lee sizers I tried were smaller than the stated diameter. The NOE bushings are right on! Plus the red Lee case fits on the NOE die to collect the bullets.

The only thinf that I don't like about the NOE die is that it screws in from the bottom. This does not permit the full ram travel, so not all available press leverage is usable.

I have a couple of nice NOE molds too.

I see .357 and .359 bushings, but no .358, so maybe missing that.

I figured 357 for my 9mm and 380 and 359 for the 358 win and 38 special. If those don't shoot or lead my barrel I can go from there.

I have a .358 body bushing, so I can vouch that they have them.

Did the same, didnt want to buy a kit, lube and the round red catcher for each caliber. Also got the pushers from lee for very cheap. I leave the die in a lee turret head since i dont use that press much anymore.

The only thing I don't like about the NOE sizers is that they don't have much lead in taper. The nose sizers have none and will scrape lead/powder coat off. This is easily fixed but it would hurt nothing for them to come with more lead in.

I might have taken the plunge myself years ago if these were available then. Instead I bought a lathe and milling machine and fed my need that way. I'm glad to see that there are commercial outfits that can satisfy cast needs today. The golden age is upon cast bullet reloaders, IMHO.

You should really get their expander dies as well. Turns a Lee universal expander die into a Lyman M die

Do check that he has them in stock, if not or you have a problem, good F'n luck. I ordered a 9mm and 380 expander last April. Got them and they are too short to stick out of the Lee universal die. No problem, first he was going to make proper ones, then he got really busy and didn't have time, then he was even busier, now last email I never got a response. If I knew this I would have found the money for the M dies, but I guess I had a little hope in him to come through. In hind sight I just wasted the last year waiting for nothing.

I've been selling mine off and replacing with iron molds from Accurate. He does good work but I hate aluminum! When he starts making iron molds (and has them in stock) I might be back.
