It shoots fine in my 38 specials. I have never fired it at magnum velocities.

Thank you! Would you recommend another Lee 6 Cavity over this one for a first 38 Special mold?

Yes I would. The 358-158-RF. A great general purpose boolit. Good for both 38 special and 357 magnum.

I use the 358-158-RF in both by S&W 64 and S&W 65. For the 38 Spl, I load it over 3.8 grains of HP-38. In the 357 I load it over 6.0 grains of Bullseye.

I ended up picking one of these up. Got to thinking it might work well in 9mm also? Anyone doing that, and have data?

I did that. I had to seat the boolit so deeply into the case there wasn't much room for powder. Also might have problems swaging the boolit base smaller due to the depth of seating.
It functioned the gun and was accurate enough, but it didn't go very fast.

Thanks, Tazman! That's good to know. I figured it'd be a compromise, but as long as it works as a decent plinking load I'll be happy.
