    Question for 300wsm

    Alright so I'm gonna have a lot lee 312-155-2r on hand for another rifle I was wondering sense that bullet is .930 long and in my cast book for 300wsm it has a lee 309-150-f that is .833 long and says OAL to be 2.533 now the difference between the 2 bullets is .097 and If I subtract .833 from the 2.533 that gives me 1.700 and if I add the .930 to 1.700 it gives me 2.630 max OAL is 2.860 so it should load so the base of both bullets would be seated at the same depth correct and that would mean I could use the about the same load data correct thanks -zach

    Feeding and chambering of round is the reason for AOL. In magazine box does it look like you have room? Any free bore in chamber? Some cast bullets you want right up to the lands and grooves. If you only have one 300 WSM then basically up to you. Watch for pressure signs always, inspect rounds for damage feeding and after chambered before shooting any.
