Lee Precision C452-300-Rf DC. It's a 300 grain FN for a 45 Colt, it's supposed to drop at .452 but is .456 bare from the mold. I think with some of Smokes Jet black PC I can get it to .458 easy enough. I'm going to try it in a Marlin 1895GG, but If it doesn't work there I'll try it sized in a 25-7. It's a nice looking bullet and I'm hoping it shoots good for me.

Yesterday I received my new Arsenal mold, 32cal 98gr SWC. Very nice and I might just have to fire up the pot and give it a go.

Brand new Lee C430-310 RF. Gotta.44 magnum to feed, this is going to be interesting! Powder coat, gas check, and hope like the dickens this thing works like I think it will! Never shot, or cast for that matter, a boolit this heavy! In a 6 cavity it should not take long to catch up on production of slugs! Merry Christmas to me!

Should have a new NOE 502-700 in the mailbox tomorrow. Today they sent me a coupon code for 20% off so I bought a 247gr 308. Can't wait for subsonic goodness.

MP 432265 Penta-Point. Miha should give me commission for all of the molds I have ordered from him (12 at last count).

    Not exactly today but...
I recently went to an estate sale at the Hensley & Gibbs shop in Murphy, Or.
I bought 15 of George Hensleys personal molds.
I assume this were experimental and/or test molds he made.
Most are 4 cavity. Some are 2 cavity.
What I found interesting was that some had up to 4 different styles of the same caliber.
Some had 2 of one style and 2 of another of the same caliber.
Some have totally different styles and calibers.
I will cast with each of them and decide which I will keep....dale

    Nice surprise today.
When I ordered the Accurate #43-210A on 12/19 the site stated that delivery time would be 3 wks........well, it was in my mail box today (10 days is better than 21).

Cleaned & 1 heat cycle already & perfect timing since I completely emptied the Pro Melt today & gave it a good cleaning.

I ordered my first Accurate Mold last week, and it's on the way. $158 shipped; a 5 cavity.

This looks to be the exact replica of the bullets I've been buying retail from Meister Bullets or Missouri Bullet Co. My hope is that I made my last order for cast 158 grn RNFPs for my cowboy shooting Ruger Vaqueros and Winchester 1873 replica!

Also, prior to making the Accurate Mold decision; broke down and ordered a Lee 6-cavity 358 158grn RF from Midway; paid a mere $37.79 for it, and am curious to see how lame it is compared to the Accurate mold. It's not the head shape I usually prefer, but it probably doesn't matter much in the long run; considering it's just for clanking against a steel target lol

Of course, I also bagged the Lee 12 gauge slug mold too; haha, we'll see what those look like PC'ed and loaded for modern 3-gun matches.

    Thanks; just sharing!

Then I propsed a slight design modification to the Accurate 45-195T. Tom was kind enough to accept the modification and the 45-185O ( the O for my son Owen, hopefully a future shooter and bullet caster but right now he is just a precocious 4 year old) was born. I now have an iron 3 cavity 45-185O awaiting its first casting session.

I got a new to me, 2 cavity Ideal 3118 yesterday. Today on my lunch break I cast up 63 sweet, 120 grain pills. After a proper heat up those little beauties just fell right out. The previous owner either rarely used it or treated it like it was gold plated. It is a very sweet mold. I have a Ruger SSM chomping at the bit to send those babies down range.
