I picked up a NEI 178-451 off of eBay. It's a TC boolit with a short base. I realized I hadn't taken a picture till I had almost all of them loaded.

    Coated in Hi-Tek Black Cherry.

I'm thinking I might have to have this converted to a hollow point some day.

Got the Email today, also, now to start watching for the Mail Lady.
Never replied to my request. I receved it today and no trough. Seasoning the mold as we speak so as long as it cast good boolits, I'll be happy.

    Edit/update:

    Alloy: Lead 92.5% + Antimony 7.5% + Tin 2 % = 17.9 BHN
Note: After PCing them I drop them in a bucket of ice water out of the oven which gives a BHN of 20.9 in 30 days
    Actual Weight: 169 grains
    Actual diameter: 360"
    Sized to: 358"
    Length after sizing: .658"

Preheated on a hot plate and dropped four perfect boolits on the first cast and 583 later they look like this:

I'm very pleased to say the least. Time to coat them with Smoke "Clear" PC.

I just received an 8-cavity 9mm aluminum block mold from MP. My first aluminum mold from Mihec and the only 8-cavity I've ever had. Hopefully it will be raining bullets this afternoon.

I didn't get a mold today. I got a ladle (actually yesterday). It is a Rowell #1 and consequently all of my aluminum molds now rain perfect bullets.
