Mould forth, and load in peace.
I found a really nice Lyman 429244 on this forum. Thank you Hickok
Today friend of mine gave me older Lyman 313225 98gr RN. It's supposed to be for 32 S&W long. Can wait to give it a go.
Bidding on a Lyman .44 Mag mold on Ebay. Took the Model 29-3 out last weekend and I feel the magnum bug. Thinking about finding second .44, maybe a Blackhawk that I can really beat up. The 29 is to darn pretty. I feel bad every time I put hot loads through it.
I recently received a older discontinued 9MM Makarov mold back from Lyman that I had buggered up. Screwed with the alignment pins and made a mess. They cleaned it up like new for no charge. Better service than I ever got from my Lee years. With it being out of service for 2 years, I feel like I got a new mold.
Delivered about a hour ago....Lee 6 cavity 358-125-RF
Actually three molds sold as a lot on Ebay:
Lyman 357446 DC
Ideal 358432 SC
Lee 358 150 SWC SC Hollow point

Lee 429-200-RF. I'm going to see how well it penetrates; hopefully I'll be able to use it for deer hunting.
So, I do not normally buy modified moulds and I don't normally buy single cavity moulds unless they are hollow points. But, this mould was posted here and it just kept calling my name.
I am a huge fan of the Guy Loverin moulds and an equally big fan of the 311466, so I had to take a chance on this one. I really wished it had been a 2C. Normally when moulds are home modified something is not right or concentric, the nose on this one appears to be a perfect fit and was well done, no issues found. This one is old enough that the nose is around .302 and tapers up to bore diameter across the first couple of driving bands. Should be a winner in '06 and 30-30. After gas check and PC it drops in at 173-174 grains.
LYMAN 358430!!
Love it!!

My Lee .476 400 grain mold was delivered yesterday. I am going to give it a try as soon as my lead melts.
Lyman 410610HP and 41032. They are beautiful and I will test them this weekend... One side of the HP pin wood part is missing, looks like the pin broke it out. More than usable.
The only problem is that I have a couple dozen 2C/large 1C handles and only 1 set of small 1C handles, really need a couple more since I have about 15 small 1C block sets.
Hoping to see my Saeco 352 today. Tracking says its out for delivery!

Just got my Arsenal mold yesterday and cast about 400 bullets. Very nice mold and my first run with brass. I really enjoyed how the temperature stayed in the sweet spot during the entire casting session but now that I got trying something new out of my system I think I will stick with aluminum molds.
