Surprised your range allows you to take it home. Most sell it or trade it for remanuf.

Reloading and Casting are really bad hobbies for people with OCD. Im good tho, I don't have OCD. I am just a out of control Hoarder and organizer, ( and yes, i pickup brass that I do not ever plan on getting a firearm for)

My family had a story about an acquaintance who, during WW2 rationing days, would always hurry the store to get some rare something "before the hoarders got it all"

Makes my 3 bags of 200 cases each look very small. I think the difference is I load and shoot then reload again. If I had that much I'd share some, trade a bunch for fun. sell a lot because I know more is coming every day and enhance my shooting equipment. I am aware of the reasons he is "hoarding" and they are valid. Secretely, I'd like to have much more brass and lead than I do.

If it's free or just really cheap, and you have space under roof, you can't have too much.
Sooner or later it will be trading stock for something you need.
Remember even bad or unknown powder grows something good to eat.

My biggest hoarding problem is powder... obsolete powder.
Whenever a powder is discontinued I'm afraid to use what I have left because... well... I might need it someday
I have to have around a dozen partially used canisters of various discontinued powders on the shelf right now... someday I'm just gonna' make up my mind to shoot the stuff.

I sorted all the steel cases and shotgun shells out of all that brass, it almost fills 2 55gallon drums. I can't wait to fill the other 5 drums I have

The very thought of moving, scares the crapola out of me.

Make sure those drums had something safe in them. Many chemicals will corrode brass. Would hate to learn that the hard way!
