I found Browning 22 lr ammo at Academy and bought a box to try. Claimed velocity is 1435 fps with a 40 gr. hp bullet, that's 200 fps faster than regular high velocity ammo. My son shot the chronograph so will have to compare by performance.

I know shooting it in my PPK/S, it doesn't have the muzzle flash like many other 22's. I believe someone said it was just rebranded WW ammo
My testing indicates the Browning 22LR ammo isn't anything special. It shoots as well as most other similar setup loads.
I bought a bulk box and it shot rather well but nothing really special . I still am curious about who makes it for Browning , it sort of reminds me of Federal Champion but I really don't know who made it .

Buy it cheap and stack it deep , you may need it !
Black Rifles Matter
The comment in post 8 about it possibly being rebranded WW could have some merit. It certainly looks a lot like the Winchester M22 bulk ammo I purchased a while back. Both seem to have a black coating of some kind. I haven't really compared them side by side so can't say for sure.
