Seeing some really cool guns on Armslist lately

I have been seeing some what I consider seriously cool guns on armslist lately. I only look in Wisconsin. I often find myself wondering what the folks here would think about some of the deals I see. Not that I could afford most of them but ... The last one was a Remington model 6 for I think $325. That seems crazy cheap to me. I don't know if the post is still there but I would like to show them here to see what people think. I don't even know if that is within the rules. What do you guys think?

If it seems to good to be true, it likely is. Do your research and see if there has been a cross posting or copy of a legitimate sale

Another thing to remember is a lot of these sites are auction sites and the price goes up from hour to hour day to day. To get an idea of price go to closed auctions for the items and see what they actually ended up selling for.

Armslist states that they are not an auction site. If the seller is asking for bid's it's probably a hoax. Also, check their join date/register date.
Some cause happiness wherever they go, others whenever they go.

I have a good friend that seems to find great deals on armslist everyone I find is already sold;expired or not as advertised;last winter I called a guy on the 3shotguns he had listed, he called me back and wanted to meet at midnight in Detroit and was adamant about only excepting cash! He wanted to meet at midnight at a rest stop no less,so no thanks! But I do see things on there at fair prices every now and again

I bought a Norinco 213 from Armslist. Met the guy in a parking lot. Another car pulled up. I started to sweat a little. Turned out to be the sellers dad watching out for him. (he was over 21) Got the gun which was very dirty but really nice cleaned up. Looks like maybe a box of ammo through it. Purchase price? $100. That was about a year and a half ago.

Buy guns from there regularly. Just do your homework and you'll be fine. Not every deal on there is legit and if something seems fishy it probably is a scam.

I'm not in a gun-buying mode (we're trying to build a house this summer, no new toys this year) but there's not a week that goes by without me seeing a flat-out deal on armslist.

Last week was a really nice 629 Classic for $700.

I know the feeling. At least once a month there's a smokin deal close, just gotta be quick to pounce.

I saw this while searching for something else. I knew they existed, but I've never seen one in person:

About all I see on the Missouri list is black guns. They're fine but not my cup of tea. One time I saw what appeared to be an exquisite Schuetzen rifle for a pretty decent price. Other than that rarely anything there of interest to me. Evidently I need to expand my horizons.

Yeah last week I SAW good deal on a marlin 336A in 30/30. An even 30 emails later and nothing
PayPal is covering the fraud. Be really careful on Armslist.

Depends on where. You can filter out the black guns and cut most of it. I just picked up a Beretta M71. Had to pass on a beautiful Model 24 22WMR/20ga last week, but only because the fellow didn't want my Marlin.

Got a real nice Dan Wesson on armslist recently. Very nice, recessed cylinders, like new deep bluing. Very happy first time armslist buyer.

I have got several great deals on armslist. Use caution, get lots of ID and contact information, and ... happy shopping!!
