Die and Punches for Walnut Hill?

I recently purchased a new Walnut Hill press. Besides RCECO and Corbin Manufacturing (with the adaptor bushings) does anyone else make die and punch sets to fit the Walnut Hill press? I am interested in the die and two punch system that the Walnut Hill is designed to use, not really the reloading press type. I tried to PM BTSniper but not positive I did it correctly.

Looks like jackets are getting pushed to the side.. Copper Blank should fit tight to punch and die as its drawn, so it doesn't move off center.. The hole in that tapered die looks a little too large for the punch your using..d

Im thinking the same thing, do you think the taper is also too long, and maybe the angle(60°) too steep?

Depends on the material..i'd fix the punch-die fit first...to the point where even some thinning of material occurs.. I've got 4 or 5 cuppers and they all have a more rounded profile.. I'll post some pics for you in the next couple of days.. Your design is quite slick, if I'm looking at it right. The punch and housing slides over die holding it concentric. The only problem you going to have is getting cup off of punch. That's where it's gonna stick..d

The design was an attempt to kill two birds with 1 stone. The top punch cuts a disk from flat stock (1" X .030 thick) at the same time it forces the disk over the bottom punch forming the first cup. The top punch is relieved insude so after forming it actually pulls the cup off the bottom punch. This system just makes a first stage cup which I can then reduce as needed, I have several other reducind dies which could make any cup I need.

GONRA's not completely sure wots the die design is here, but, as the punch forms the cup,
you have to use an annular "hold down punch" so the material flows RADIALLY (along top of die)
and then down into the die cavity as the cup is formed.
(Think of ductile forming as a fluid flow issue.)
Otherwise you will end up with (at best) a crinkled cup.

Im cookin with gas. Still have some work to do but it's looking better. Increased the bottom forming post/punch to .600 and it semes to have done the trick.
