    Springfield XDs 45 won't cock

Have any of you had a problem with your Springfield XDs not cocking? I was shooting today and a round was loaded but the pistol was not cocked. I ejected the round and worked the slide several times, but it was still not cocked. The loaded round indicator on top of the slide is up like it has a round in it, but there is no round loaded. I am unable to remove the slide since I can't get it to cock. If you have had this problem and gotten it solved please let me know what you did.

I just wanted to give an update on the results of this thread. I contacted Springfield and they sent me a pre-paid mailer for Fedex. Twelve days after leaving it at Fedex it was delivered to my door repaired and ready to go. No charge and no questions asked. Springfield has tremendous customer service. Thank you for your interest. Did they say what was wrong? There is a roll pin in there that I have heard will break sometime so I have some spares here. My xd45 service is my main cc piece so if I need to get a different spare part it would be nice to know.
