Press for loading 3 1/2 inch magnums?

Can someone suggest a press for 12 gauge 3 1/2 inch magnums?
What hulls would be good to use with longevity?
I just discovered the 3 1/2 incher shooter larger loads than the 10 gauges. And here I was getting ready to get a 10 gauge Remington Auto and my Benelli's are 3 1/2 inch. http://www.chuckhawks.com/10_gauge_obsolete.htm
I'm stocking up on turkey hunting ammo. 500 to 1000 should last me till the end of my time.
    TIA,
    Duke

Duke, check out the link below. I recently picked up a Benelli Super Nova and I'm looking at this press for the same reason!

    10 gauge

    Hey duke,
Sometimes ChuckHawks is of base and this is one time.
10 gaugecane be loaded heavier. check out www.nitrocompany.com
simple fact is more shot can be put in bigger bore.
Gun fact is bigger bore shoots larger load more efficient.
This is principle of backbored and overbored barrels.

A shot gun has an ideal load for a solid pattern.
Reloaders call it a squared load. If your bore is .729'' diameter a square load is .729" TALL or .729 X .729
So if your bore is .751 and your square load it to .751
    Your 10 gauge is .751X.751.
It will have more shot and should shoot the same percentage as any other squared load.
    This is why a 10 can shoot bigger loads than a 12, and a 12 bigger than a 16, and a 16 bigger than a 20, and a 20 bigger than a 28 and so on and on.

Ps. Funds are in route for those pods.

Saying that the Ten is going to be bested by the 12 is ackin to pouring Nitrous to a Datsun Pickup and then dragin' a D9 Cat around .........

Yea I'm opt to agree with you. I have Benelli 3 1/2 for the wife and I. I have been oogling a Remington SP10 gauge for about 15 years. In camo.
Think I'll get one and I won't have the wife asking me "where's mine" with big puppy dog eyes. To big for her. lol

Speaking of loading the 12 ga. 3 1/2" hull. When we satrted loading the Tri-Ball III (3 1/2").....we updated out PW 375's with the new crimp starters and spring loaded final crimp station. It works perfect for clean tight 6 fold crimp. The full length die for the hull is the best we have seen.

    .

I got one new in 1988 the year after Remington brought them out !

Back then I was shooting shotguns alot at clay targets !

But that gun was still heavy and cumbersome !

I now shoot a pair of 10 gauge SxS's . One is and old W.C.Scott my grandfather had since the 40's or 50's . And the other is an Ithaca . The W.C. has damascus barrels and the Ithaca fluid steel . Oh yeah they are both 2 7/8's not 3 1/2". I've used the W.C. Scott recently to shoot some skeet and it actually did a real good job as it's heavy enough to make it hard to stop your swing.

    I likes my 10 gauges

Back in the day when I was wound up tight about skeet , trap and bird hunting I reloaded a lot od shotgun shells !

I used Ponsness Warren 800C's for the 12 , 20 , 28 and 410 . At the time Ponsness Warren didn't make a 800 for the 10 or 16 so for them I got a 375 with two seperate heads ! I gotta say I could crank some 16 gauge shells out with that old single stage but the 10's were a bit trickier .

Now that I've decided to load for my 2 7/8" 10 gauges the only game in town is the MEC 600 or Sizemaster and then I have to get a shim to get them the right height to do the short 10 gauge shells .

But the MEC 600Jr for the 10 gauge is about $135 new from my local dealer and the step or shim piece is another $25 .

    A new PW 375 I think now is about $400 .
