But seriously this is Eastwood's translucent grape, one coating, shake and bake. This covered much better than Harbor freight's red. I am lucky enough to have an Eastwood store about 45 minutes from my house. I was in the area so I stopped in to pick up some powder. It was my first time there. On their display were samples pieces that have been coated. I went in to get one color and walked out with another. With all the colors that I've seen I think this is going to be addictive. I did try the Hi-Tek coating but because my lead is a little too soft and the diameter is off too I experienced severe leading. When I tried Harbor freight's red powder coating I had zero leading.

Those are some nice looking Boolits - cool color. Which color Hi-Tek did you use, and how did you apply it? I have used Gold, Red Copper, Brick Red, Zombie Green, Gun Metal, and Black, all applied with acetone. I obtained good results with my soft lead and non-sized projectiles. I did coat them 4 times.

Watch for etching around the cylinder and chamber,I experienced etching at these spots and returned to Ben's Red,no etching or nothing to clean in the chamber and bore.
Are my kids/grandkids more important than "o"'s kids, to me they are, darn tooting they are!!! They deserve the same armed protection afforded "o"'s kids.
I have been hoodwinked but not by"o"

A little BLL on those and they practically run out the bore by themselves.
