    Which 4895 for M-1?

My M-1 cycles fine with 34 grains of surplus pull down 4895 but I am almost out of it. I have 2 pounds of IMR 4895 (figured that was the same stuff) now I am not so sure with H4895 out there. Any advice appreciated.

Most any flavor of 4895 (IMR, H, milsurp or AA) will be fine. You may have to adjust the load a grain +/- depending on flavor is all.

H4895 is less temp sensitive and is better for reduce loads. Other than that, they're basically the same. I'm assuming what you were using was IMR4895 equivalent since it was pulldown stuff.

Toss a coin on the IMR and H varieties. I've used both, almost interchangeably (see Larry's post above), with equally adequate results.

Yep, they both work well. Of course anytime you change components, you'll need to start low and work up.
