    Accurate molds

Thought I'd put in my 2 cents worth on Accurate molds. Ordered a 2 cavity 45 430Q mold 230 gr truncated .452 on Thursday of last week and according to the site there's a 3 week turn around time, fine no big deal. Go out to check my mail this past Tuesday and I've a package and to my surprise it's the mold. So the next day I decided to try this puppy out and have to say I'm very impressed took a bit to get up to temperature once there casting was a breeze the bullets just about fell out of the block on their own. Don't know if the owner checks this site or not but hats off to Tom dele versed a quality product and a had of schedule .

Ditto, I think the three week turn around is you will be casting within three weeks of the order.
    Great service.

He posts here. As I have previously stated, Tom is a collosual stud. I'm sure his turn-around time varies, but mine have always averaged a week or so from finalization of the design.

The gent's molds are simply the best and there is always a reasonable, logical, timely answer to any question you might ask.

Just ordered a 45-175A with no lube groove for PC. Accurate molds are one of my favorites & the quality is second to none! Can't wait to cast with it!

    Tom does good work.
I have a couple of his molds, and want several more.
Last one I got I was told 3 weeks, and it arrived inside that time including freight to Australia.
Hard work made me what I am today,
    Broken and broke

On Tuesday March 21 at 7:32 pm I sent him an email requesting a custom mold. I received confirmation from Tom at 9:04 pm, an hour and a half later, that the mold was added to the catalog. Put order in at 10:37 pm and received confirmation. I will update this thread when I get it. Regardless, that is crazy good service for a custom mold.

The last 3 molds I ordered from him (all custom and separately) were delivered in around a week. I'm a lot closer to him than most. He's earned my future business for sure.

I have several Accurate molds, all cast very well, arrived quicker than promised and are all spot on for size with the alloy I specified. Cant get any better than that.

Can someone advise why all his designs have a flat point? Just curious. I love my 45 230gr mold.

That how his equipment is set up and/or inherent limitation of equipment. If you asked him he would tell you. Since I believe in the magic meplat it is fine by me. Only thing I would like is smaller calibers. Would love an Accurate .223 mold

    I inherited one of Toms .38 molds, it's a good'n, so needing a longer / heavier mold, I then ordered another one. It's a good'n too.
Toms Web site is easy to deal with, the mold is also easy to deal with and casts effortlessly.
Yes a quick turn around time to Oz was appreciated.

    Thumbs up from me.

Tom would have to upgrade his CAD software and that would be expensive

I'm pretty sure it is a limitation of the type of tooling (boring bar), not the CAD software.
