I normally use 25:1 for my cast in the 45 Colt. I have a stock pile of SOWW and was wondering if anyone has use this for their conversion cylinder.

I don't have a conversion cylinder (yet), but I would use anything as long it as it wasn't harder than wheel weights. Use a good lube and size them right.

My brother has several and just uses whatever scrap lead he can get to put on top of trail boss.
Your soft SOWW lead as proposed is ideal for standard pressure .45 Colt loads. I use 1:30 or 1:40 tin-lead with black powder and 50-50 COWW and plumber's lead with 1% tin added otherwise.
The ENEMY is listening.
HE wants to know what YOU know.
Keep it to yourself.
Thanks guys. I'll should be casting away this weekend.
