    I think everyone had that at some point. My dad still uses one for his shotgun cleaning

    Wow.......instant recognition! That was the same kit my Dad got me for my first .22.......a Remington 514. Of course, the rod and tips were a little smaller. Brother, I'd spend hours cleaning and polishing that little gun..........thanks for the post!

    I too have one one of those but not quite that nice, did you notice that the oil can has a lead spout? I have several of those old oil cans and I'm not even sure just how I started collecting them or even where they came from.
