These pictures disturbed me a bit when I realized that I knew of and used a lot of this equipment when it was the latest thing offered!

Looks to have some Star Machine parts on it? Could it be a early Star?

I have 2 that are Buchanans. Then there are the PESCOs which of the ones I’ve seen are blue. There may be a third brand, I’m not sure.

Here’s one of my Buchanans with a tube bullet feeder and missing the powder hopper. The advancement arm seems to be the weak link.

Thanks Lubedude, I am on the road and could not get my memory to work.
Yes, there is a third name, I have one. It is a early version of the Buchanan with out the base arrangement.

The Handloader's Digest ,ninth edition, has a very good article on past and present progressive loaders, and mentions the Star, Buchanan, PESCO, and another named the Shockey. Fascinating reading.

Yes, I want to see this $25 Super Turret.

Edit: As of 8/10, the $25 Super Turret has not surfaced. I call shenanigans.

The third brand is the original design from 1934. H.E. Newcomb filed a patent application for it on August 26, 1934. Patent No: 2061977 if you wish to look it up.
He then marketed the press for some years as the Newcomb.

I also know of people who never served who like to walk round claiming they were SEALS.

I had a little fun using this .32-40M Ideal hand tool. It took a while to get up to proper casting temp due to the mass of steel. But once warmed up, it cast beautiful bullets. I was expecting them to be around .320"-.321" diameter, which would barely be large enough for my M94 carbine's .3205" groove size. It was a very happy surprise that they came out at .322"-.3225" with my 96/3/1 alloy. The tool works great, although the bullet sizer is a bit small for my carbine, so I didn't use it. I ran them through a .322" lube sizer and loaded them up.

Here’s my old Kodiak Bair, I use it for my 30-40 Krag and 30-06. She’s a stout one.
