These look interesting, especially the 16" barrel Huntsman with the factory Skinner peep sight. Anyone have a Taylor? Opinions? Thanks, Craig.

I don't have one, but they do look very interesting. A bit spendy, but most things are these days.
I do have a 16" Winchester Model 94AE in .357 Mag. It is a very handy little carbine, although I would rather it was a Model 92.

Too much, in my opinion. You can have the 16" Rossi carbine R92 and have the whole rifle worked over at Steve's Gunz, add the Skinner sights, and still have plenty of money left over. Do the work yourself and you can have a matched pair in 45LC and 357Mag... The wood looks very nice though.
I currently own two 'Taylor & Co' guns; both made for Taylor by Uberti and every 'Taylor & Co' gun I can recall handling has, also, been made by Uberti. However, Uberti doesn't catalogue a '92 nor does Pedersoi so I've no idea who might be making these for Taylor.

I think the taylor's are made by chiappa. Does anyone have any comments on the quality , smoothness, fit and finish of these Taylor guns?

Do the Chiappas have any silly safeties or are they true to the original JM Browning design?

No safety on my 92.
