    Stag 8T 5.56?

Can someone tell me if I can change a Stag 8T 5.56 into a .308? Is it just a barrel and bolt change? Will the lower need to be changed along with mags? Some one has offered this rifle to me but I really want one in .308.

Nope. The receivers aren't large enough to handle the barrel/bcg for 308.

No problem. If they are offering the rifle to you for really cheap, pick it up and save for an AR308. If you want to get into an AR308 for a reasonable price, complete rifles are sold by DPMS and Smith and Wesson for a reasonable price.

Savage is also making an AR in 308 (and 6.5 Creedmore) now as well.
