Does anyone reading this copper plate their bullets instead of lubing them? Here is a video of the process: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2KM_hr5eCNo
If so, how successful have you been and what are the pros and cons of this vs. lube?
Thanks

Boy was that long and boring. Still curious as to the voltage and amps used. Was not going to wade back through that to find out. Seems like a lot of work to do a lot of bullets but interesting. I may give it a try.
Hmmm nickel plated bullets? that got me thinking about nickel plated brass. The lead would probably require a copper strike before the nickel layer.

On every question of construction let us carry ourselves back to the time when the Constitution was adopted, recollect the spirit manifested in the debates, and instead of trying what meaning may be squeezed out of the text or invented against it, conform to the probable one in which it was passed.

Don't think I'm going to try the copper plating, after suffering through the first video I realized there were two more I would have to watch to see a finished plated boolit....I just can't do it , I would be bored slap to death by that.
But I might try those pills that attract young ladies in bikini's that were shown in the Utube ad ! I watched that ad twice !

I think I will try.
With copper plating boolits, you still have to lube them. No lube necessary for pc. Therefore, I will stick to pc.
That would be different than all the copper plated bullets suppliers sell.

Other than the possibility of the thickness of the plating, why would you lube them?
Information not shared. is wasted.
things would have to get in bad way in terms of being able to acquire plated bullets at reasonable prices before I would remotely attempt this.
Oh yeah and to what Bullet Head said...... I nodded off watching it.
But now I know it can be done if i needed it, which I think is the point in the end.
Thanks
