I'm looking to buy a Lyman to Star sizer adapter so my Lyman sizing dies will fit in my star sizer. Would also be interested in the top punch adapter.
Thanks

Don't like being hammered by the Cast Boolits Staff, then don't be a nail.
The rules are simple to follow.
I would be interested in one also.

8 in the 10 ring, then I get a PING. Love my Garand.
Never heard of one, yet. Main engineering problem would be getting the holes in the adapter and the holes in the Lyman die to match up. Just got 2 more dies from Lathesmith, best deal going, imho.
Iirc the perfessor made some. I'm not sure he is still active here though. I miss his knowledge.
They are not hard to make if you have a lathe.
Life is so much better with dogs!
If one had a lathe...why not make the star size die....lol
Be nice you guys.

i just pick up a star after i get my star and see what is need i might make a few adaptor if i get time have a lathe and will use it just need some time
> if one had a lathe...why not make the star size die....lol
LOL -- because if you have 10 different lyman dies, you could make 1 adapter and use all 10 of them it in,
instead of making 10 different star dies.
1/10th the work.
You guys didn't see that while you were laughing at haswipp?![]()
and making the die is more work and you need to have a remmer for what you are making to have a good die
I have a lathe, and I make my own sizing dies for Star, Lyman/RCBS, and Saeco lubrisizers. I've done the measuring, and it's not possible to adapt a Lyman sizing die to fit in a Star sizer.

What 454PB said.
But half way between the two you'd think Lyman or RCBS or one of the resident genius types here would cook up a push-through type sizer that uses the existing dies.
Everybody grab a shovel, we got a swamp to drain.
if i had a mill i would built a sizer like the star and make it to use all the dies out there for lube sizers just have a bushing you swap to use other dies
