Does anyone know where I can get Vihtavuori powder in the Houston or surrounding areas? I'm thinking about trying Tin Star but I haven't seen this brand of powder at any local businesses. I tried to find a place on their website but it refers to Hodgdon's website. I didn't find any at the last gun show that I was at. Thanks for any help.
Look at the Powder Valley website. They may have it.
10 Ring on Jones Road has Tin Star from time to time, you can sign up for an E-Mail they send out with regard to their powder inventory. They have Trail Boss most of the time but Tin Star is not always in their inventory.
Thank you very much for the help. I don't buy powder online because, IMO, the hazmat fee is a major ripoff. Gun powder takes a considerable effort to ignite and it's not really shipped any differently so what's with the high shipping cost. Again, just my opinion. Plus I prefer to shop local when I can. I will look into 10 Ring. I think I remember hearing about them before but I've never been there. Thanks again.
