    star sizer return spring issue

    notice my lube spring is not returning to start position going to try and heat up see if that helps could use advice

    How old or how much use has this star sizer seen? Could be that all you need to do is heat it up. Depends on the temp of the room you are set up in. If it is on the chilly side, then heat may be necessary no matter what lube you use.

    the older flat style springs can be broke and not look like it.
    when I swapped both of mine out, one was in 4 pieces and the other merely broke in half.

    I use the old NRA 50/50 soft lube and mine does that, it is in my basement and a little cool during the winter. I warm the sizer every time I use it with a heat gun for a few minutes and all is well. I will look really close at my springs, they are most likely tired or broke.
