Anybody who hasn't read 30 Seconds Over Tokyo needs to run down to the library and pick up a copy. If you didn't already respect these guys, you will after reading the book.

Doolittle's biography is great, too. "I Could Never Be So Lucky Again", Bantam. Few people know that Jimmy had a Ph. D. from MIT...

One of the most endearing sights in the world is the vision of a naked good-looking woman leaving the bedroom to make breakfast. Bolivar Shagnasty (I believe that Lazarus Long also said it, but I can't find any record of it.)

Saw they just had another flight for the WWII survivors also.
Yes, I read all thosse books as a kid, Navarone, Aces, etc. That was back when people were close to the war times and did remember. Many of my teachers were ex from Korea or WWII. Then there was the Cronkite series on the B&W TV.

Are my kids/grandkids more important than "o"'s kids, to me they are, darn tooting they are!!! They deserve the same armed protection afforded "o"'s kids.
