pat marlin reloading press mounting system

very neat system. but, my question for anyone that uses one is; once it is in use , is there any movement in the press. is it solid, does it have any "wobble" at all? is there some system (pins, wedge, Ect. to inhibit movement. i want my presses to be rock solid when being used.

I have had and used one for a few years for press, lube/sizing and case trimming. Thick/strong bench top and screw the plate down tight and you will be good to go.

I use the Inline Fabrication quick change mounts. Rock solid.

Have both, attached firmly and they both do the same. the Inline Fab I have is a flush mount "routed" into the bench top so it is flush with the top. Got the idea from some-one else.

No, no press movement. There are 6 bolts that hold down the bars that hold the plate. I use 1/4" bolts tightened with a hand nut driver and it holds the presses steady/solid even while I was swaging some jacketed bullets (sometimes I only use four of the hold down bolts)...

My RockDock works really well--no movement of the press at all.

I have two Rock Docks and love them. They are solid and hold my single stage and Hornady progressive steady.
