If it's referring to Reloder 7, it's made by Alliant, and is still in production. I use it in my .375 Winchester.

pull up the powder see the info, in QL,
then check the BR sheets.

I know you are not used to using those sheets.

Many current manuals refer to it as RL 7.

Those powders do go by a couple different abbreviations in a few manuals, its confused me a couple times.

Alliant Reloder 7 - in the 4198/2015 range. Cleaner than many at lower pressures. Fine grained 'stick' powder - measures well. Excellent boolits powder in 32 Special, 35 Remington, 30-30, and 308. good in 223. Powder Valley has it. On the shelves in Sportsman Warehouse, Cheyenne, WY.

Please note: Alliant RL7 IS NOT Accurate 7 (Rx7): they have vastly different burning rates.

RX7 and RL7 are both used to describe Reloder 7 currently from Alliant and previously Hercules reloder 7.

WHEN THEY FIRST MANUFACTURED IT THEY CALLED IT rx7, NOW IT'S CALLED rl 7, AT THE TIME THEY ALSO MADE rx 11 AND RX21 IF MEMORY SERVES ME RIGHT.

It has always been Reloder 7, Sierra used RE-7 for years then RX7, Hornady spelled it out, most manuals give a list of their abbreviations, that's all it is

There are the Ba numbers for the powders that are around Reloder 7…

I am a bit surprised that 296 is so close to Reloder 7…

So, can I use 2200 and Benchmark with the same data as Reloder 7, at least the starting loads and then work up?...

I’m I interpreting the Ba numbers correctly?...
