    How to keep them standing????

What is the best method to keep bullets standing when placing in oven. I took some 1/2" square screen and made an upside down tray 1/2" off the bottom and leaned the bullets in the squares. Short fat pistol bullets stand OK without using the screen but long 30 cal. bullets always fall over. Is there a better method out there?

    Hi-Tek.

I like powder coat for those FLUF boolits. But the TUF boolits are much easier to do with Hi-Tek.

I am thinking about PC'ing .22's for a project I am considering, and dreading the thought. Others must have a lot steadier hands or more patience than I.

22's - shake and bake and lay them out... life is too short.

Try cooking using silicon mats on a flat metal surface. My wire oven racks are covered with sheet metal and the silicon mat does not slide like foil or parchment. I have been able to cook flat bottom 22, 7mm and 30 caliber, not completely without incident, but well enough. More time consuming, but you can place the oven racks part way in on a cold oven and gently slide the racks into place when full.

Started using just just front half of shelf and not sliding in and out. Seldom have an issue when not moving shelf each time. A lot of bullets can be stacked in a small area when placed on silicone mats. Picked up a new oven for less than $30 which has the hinge closer to back so will have full access to shelf if needed.
