+1 on the harbor freight model. I have 4 and they can dry an entire 5 gallon bucket of brass. They don't last forever, but at the price point, who cares.

It may not work well with rimfire brass but after I wet tumble my centerfire brass in my Frankford Arsenal Planetary tumble. I throw 2 strips of car drying chamios in the tumbler after rinsing in hot water (It doesn't cause spotting). I run the tumbler for 5 minutes or less and they absorb all the water. The brass comes out almost dry to the touch. Then I just laying them out on a towel under a ceiling fan for a short time.
I place the wet brass in a zip-up garmet bag, then lay this on my drying rack in my clothes dryer. About 15 minutes on Medium heat does the trick. No spots! The garmet bag is normally used to wash/dry women's bras and other delicate clothing. Can buy for about $1 in Walmart.
I use my Hi-Tek and PC convection oven set on 200. Dry in 10 min, 500 per load.
There is no difference between communism and socialism, except in the means of achieving the same ultimate end: communism proposes to enslave men by force, socialism—by vote. It is merely the difference between murder and suicide. Ayn Rand
I use the washing machine to clean everything, but my dryer will eat 22lr brass, so I dry everything except the 22lr brass in there. Just take 1/3 cup lemi-shine, a squirt of Dawn, and the regular amount of laundry detergent, then run the washer as usual. Then dry.
Here's my procedure. Shoot, rinse with hot water, let sit on towel in basement for 2 days, reload, repeat. Water will evaporate unless your house is at 100% humidity. If I wanted to speed up the drying process I'd throw the brass in a pan, and throw it in the oven at 100 for an hour.
If I am in a hurry I put the wet brass in the toaster oven I use for powder coating at about 80 C for about 1/2 an hour that works well for me.
I don't do it on a regular basis but, when I clean brass with mineral spirits I will dry as best I can, then I put it in the vibe tumbler for about an hour with lizard litter to absorb the moisture. I take it out and shake vigorously to brake up the clumps and put it back in for a while with a touch of brass cleaner.
For the dryer you may want to consider some of the anti slip material that goes under rugs and line the drum. It is a kind of waffle design that is rubbery and has hole to let air through. I would be careful and test it first to make sure the dryer doesn't get too hot for it.
A vote for anyone other then the conservative candidates is a vote for the liberal candidates.
In the summer I set my brass out in the sun to dry. In the winter I set it in front of a heater register - we have a forced air heating system. I have a food dehydrator that I have thought about using but the other two methods work well enough that I haven't used the dehydrator. Not to mention, the dehydrator would be using electricity just for the purpose of drying the brass when the other two methods are either free (sun) or already being used anyway (heater).
When it's time to fight, you fight like you are the third monkey on the ramp to Noah's Ark.... and brother, it's STARTING TO RAIN!!
Yeah, I had to rebuild my dryer today ! ROFL. Dont let 22lr get in there, it bound up somewhere and knocked the idler pulley off its mount and threw the belt off the drum. I found 7 22lr cases in the exhaust of the dryer, which went promptly back into the washer, and then in my 22lr pan.
I stick them in the oven on a old metal cake pan with a wooden spoon in the door to let the moisture out. 200F for a half hour works good for me.
Dont pee down my back and tell me its raining.
I usually put my wet brass on a cookie sheet in front of the heat/cooling vent. They dry well depending on how often the unit runs. I have put the same cookie tin in the counter top convection oven set on 200 deg for about 10 min. They finish drying after removing from oven.

I spent some time looking for a drying rack that fit my dryer - seems they are model specific? Anyone have a line a generic model?
Maybe I'll dig up a 20% and head to harbor freight.
I live in Florida. So I all year I put my wet brass in a wire-mesh pan and place it on top of the outside part of the AC unit. The high flow of hot air blowing straight up usually dries it in 15 minutes or so.
How about some elastic straps to suspend you pillow case in the center of the dryer it will still rotate but will keep it from falling a foot. Maybe some magnets to old it to the side of the drum.
Reloading to save money I am sure the saving is going to start soon
